Orc Head wip .jpg

This is my second attempt at sculpting… after watching a lot of zbrush tutorials…

interested in sand texture after reading an article how to make decent looking sand in udk.

so i picked Sandman from spiderman, i get to practice scuplting a humanoid and do the sand texture.

I used Humberto Ramos Sandman as my base reference.

Head and Body started out as a ball of dynamesh
Arms started out as cylinders.

Now im off exploring Polypaint and Matcap stuff
oh, i guess i should work on his tshirt as well.

Welcome to ZBrushCentral Knessi =)
Great start, definently keep at it. You did a good job on the two monster, I wasn’t that good when I started;)
What kind of tutorials are you doing? I would recommened you to study anatomy, anatomy and again anatomy^^
Will keep an eye on your progress and on your sketchbook:)
Cheers and happy sculpting,

  • Kenny:)

Thanks KC,
Ryan Kingsley stuff on youtube and other youtube stuff.
I got both Eat3d hardsurfacing technique over christmas, i found the Second Vol. not as informative as the first one, but none the less it was very informative, and worth the money.

Sony Santa Monica Lunchcrunch Characters, the thread is very informative and inspirational, and of course the stuff thats posted on the zbrush forumns.

Yes i totally agree with you on the anatomy stuff… once i have the $$$, i’ll get into the ryan kingsley stuff.

and thanks for taking a gander at my work people : )

this is taking way longer than i expected… i hope i could finish this by tonight (friday morning)
im so amazed how people over at the sony lunchcrunch did their stuff so fast… i should probably be more loose.
