Looks like Magneto got the answer to his question the hard way, “That remarkable metal doesn’t run through your entire body, does it?”
I was just thinking that I haven’t seen a really cool Magneto sculpt and then I’m hit with this masterpiece. Magneto is one of my favorite characters. Love it. I do think that there could be something done with the rest of the skeleton to create a more interesting design rather than having a pile of bones. Maybe have them all floating around him? I dunno, just thinking out loud.
Those are some good thoughts Moops. I do plan to revise a couple of things before calling mags final.
Pixologic… I love you guys but I have to say this. FOR GOD’S SAKE, ZBrush needs to be a 64-bit package! These constant daily crashes are too much of a problem now…
Posting after a long time here.
Two of my sculpts have finally seen the light of day and were officially unveiled today over at www.sideshowtoy.com(please check the production blog).
The digital sculpts of both characters were done by myself with Pop Culture Shock Toys handling the paints, stitch work and base. I’ve used Zbrush 3.5 R3 throughout.
