Khurram. H. Alavi - Sketches/Work Dump

i think you should leave that ass alone

Awesome works:+1:

Very cool character and cool sculpt! :+1:

dozogovi, Captain Sensible, eof3D, m0delista: Thank you! Will definitely post a tutorial on how I sculpt hair :).
BigK8804: You are too kind :). Thank you my friend.
JohnYip: Haha… Ok :D.
Karthik.AL. Nattawat_OBBI: Thanks!

I added details to the wires and added nails. Minor tweaks to the hair and eyebrows. Took out a zdepth pass and rim pass and played around with those to get this rough comp together. All done in Zbrush as always.

sweet, sweet work, love it!!! can you tell us what base Mcap you use to polypaint on? keep it up bro, love to see more works…

It turned out sweet man!!! It does have a unique look to it, color wise and material wise.

great sculpting …

I love that sweet Zbrush style render personally. It’s not as realistic or anything (of course) as other options but I’ll tell you, it has it’s own appeal and charm to me in that things look a bit cartoony, a bit plastic, I really dig that look when rendered out right in this app. Lends a believability and most importantly, a “style” to the piece that realism alone couldn’t achieve. For a zbrush forum we don’t get to see many quality zbrush renders as everything is done final in another renderer so it’s a treat to see something like this, thanks for posting.

mutte696: Thank you! :). I usually start by using the ‘Pearl Cavity’ Matcap and then going back and forth between this and flat color. I use Seb’s skin matcap for final render(Thanks for that brilliant material Seb!)
nightwoodwolf: Thanks :D.
Extra Dimensional: Thanks ED! It actually depends alot on the subject matter. I think Zbrush can render out great passes for composite. The Olympian Guard female in the beginning of the thread is also all Zbrush, including the ground plane and the shadows as well. I try to cover every single operation in Z and so far it’s done wonders for me. If you’ve seen my Dhalsim thread, I’ve given a breakdown of how I manipulate passes from Zbrush. In Wolvie’s case, I’ve used a Zdepth pass, a rim pass and a beauty color pass.

Turntable for the last comp.

Thanks Ryan! Glad to see you here at ZBC :).

Its been a little slow for me lately but I managed to spend some time refining logan. Also rendered some passes out of z and made another quick composite.
