Hi

just want to ask is there a way to remove the function which focuses the model when i press alt and double click on the model. when im working with a brush and use Zsub option when im drawing on the model very often it occurs that it focuses and i have to bring it closer again. the “alt” combination doesn`t work for me because the same button is used for the Zsub option and that creates some confusion

and if there is a way to set my keys like they are in zb 3.1. When i press shift+ctrl to be able to choose the different subtools? not like it`s with the “Alt+click” button

You may reduce the “Click Time” in the Preferences:Interface sub palette, or even set it to zero to disable this feature.

If you like the new settings, save your config file.

I don’t know of a way of changing subtool selection.

but if i change the Click Time to very low number or zero , then and the changing subtool selection key(alt+click) don't work :(

Use alt+click or option+click.

i m PC user :frowning: i don’t have option key …

even if i use alt + click , it doesn’t work when the Click Time is set to zero :((

You may try keeping the click time at reasonable value (such as .2) and reducing the Click distance to 5 (or even 3).

Also - if you did not know this already - you can use the Up/Down arrows to switch subtools.

I totally go along with what PSTCHOART says here. I’ve tried the suggestion from support but that doesn’t help. my workmates have the same problem. 3.1 worked perfectly for me and everybody else :frowning:

is it maybe possible to create a zscript to select subtools even when clicktime is set to 0?
