keyboard shortcut problem

is it possible I’ve hit something accidentally that disables keyborad shortcuts in 3.1? I literally can’t use any shortcuts (cntrl s, {} etc) and I’ve no idea why it has suddenly stopped working.

I originally thought it was a bug to do with subtools but even if I import an object on it’s own I can’t use any shortcuts.

It’s nothing silly like my keyboard not working- help!

I have the same problem. In 3.1 also.

Please follow this forum’s guidelines when posting any troubleshooting inquiry. With each troubleshooting post, please include your full system specs and any other pertinent information which will allow us to determine if this is one of the following: a) user error? b) Misunderstanding of a specific feature, such as its usage and limitations? c) An item which has already been resolved. d) An item which needs to be resolved.

IMPORTANT: Before posting a troubleshooting item, make sure that:

  1. You are using the latest ZBrush version.
  2. You have a ‘clean’ ZBrush install. i.e. remove any items which you have added (such as older ZScripts and other startup items) which may result in unexpected - and difficult to resolve - problems.
  3. You did not increase the PreferencesMax polygon count or Compact Mem to a level which can not be supported by your system specs.

Any threads that do not follow these guidelines will be closed. Thank you for your cooperation.

I think that everyone have the same problem, but it happens sometimes , sometimes not. It’s iritating, nasty bug, something like zsphere entire mesh scale and crashes with it , or topology +zsphere crashes. Pixologic- Zsphere module to repair , and shortcuts too… :confused:
O… Aurik your post did not solve any problem. It’s look like automatic post :lol:

First off, Aurick gave you the copy/pasta cause you didn’t follow the forums guidelines, you brought it on yourself.
Secondly, check ZBrush3\ZStartup\HotKeys, remove or delete the file there, if there is one and see if that helps.
Are you using a tablet, i’ve noticed lately with the new wacom intuos drivers similar problems popping up, they say it might be related to a memory leak.
