i want to paint seamless and need the key for scrolling the canvas, i know it is the tilde key with the english keyboard, it is supposed to be the ö key with the german, but it does not work.
i use a mac, any ideas ?

thanks, but i tried every key, there is no 126.
i even tried to use the american keyboard preferences,
but even there i did not find the scrolling function…
i am thinking about buying an american keyboard for the use of zbrush,
to avoid any problems in the future…

yes, and all combinations with shift and alt and control
If your main interest is tileable textures there is a plugin ‘Layer Shift’ in this tutorial thread which may help. It enables you to shift the texture horizontally and or vertically so that you can work on the seams by simply pressing a button. No need to use the tilde key at all.
it works with mac os 10.4.7, the american keyboard (latin or unicode) in “landeseinstellungen”, sticky tape and a felt pen ;
you don’t have to use the shift key, the ` will do.
