I want to subdivide my model and have z-brush hold on to the low poly form better than it does. Not make everything so soft. Does anyone out there know how I can do this. I have spent a great deal of time nailing down the form I want. I enjoy modeling the base of my sculpts in maya but its frustrating to see all that work disapear when i subdivide a couple times.

oh and there is the Cage button in the geometry palette in case that’s what you’re looking for.
