hi dude, you can invert your mask if you want and you can clear your mask, if you want…everything in menu-tool-masking. I hope, I helped U
You can use your mask in pm by applying it to your model first then going into pm. This will work for deformations but it also picks up the masking so using it to color up your model probably won’t work for you.
test it on a sphere so you can see how it works.
I did a ring, I converted it in a polymesh, in edit mode: I did a mask (a star shape), I active my project master, and I can paint out of my mask!
I thought I can save a mask selection… to use it again later.
Of course you can – while the model is dropped to the canvas. Pick the model up again, though, and everything in the masked areas will disappear. Paint will only transfer to the texture within the unmasked areas.
If all else fails you can also use a stencil. Place it where you need it to be and then drop into projection master. That is a sure fire way to solve the problem.

It does not right … or I skiped any important step?
I have my polymesh, I mask it, I open my project master (color and material, double side and fade are active), I drop it… I use a ‘Simple brush’ with ‘mrgb’ active and not zadd or zsub… I paint with a different color and material… I pick up… and nothing!.. my new material and shape get out of my mask, paint in and out side of my mask!
what I do wrong?
and thanks you all guys!
this image is tooked after I did pick up
and sorry for my bad english… I am from spain!
Are you using a polymesh instead of a primitive? The parametric objects take masking into consideration when using Projection Master. Polymesh objects do not. So if your model is a polymesh, then the best suggestion is as Ryan said – use a stencil instead of a mask. Be sure to turn the stencil off before you pick the model up again.
I have this case
I used a ‘inflat’ 3 times, now I want work JUST within my mask! with Projection Master!
Can I do that?
Thanks!
