Just started using ZBrush

As the title says. I’ve only been messing around with it for a day or so. I have virtually zero experience sculpting, be it digitally or with traditionally, so this is all new to me. I used to do lots of sketching and drawing so I do have some understanding of the human figure, but man, trying to put it all together in a three dimensional space is difficult.

This is the first thing I spent any amount of time on. About an hour’s worth of work. Would any of you guys have any book/video recommendations for learning how to block in the head more efficiently? I’ve watched a handful of videos on youtube but a lot of them are vague or aren’t too great.

I was mostly concerned with trying to get the likeness down. I also have no clue how to model hair so I just took one of the brushes and went heavy-handed. I also have no idea how to do eyes. I inserted spheres into the sockets, but sculpting on top of the spheres just warped everything and it looked like junk so I got rid of it.
