Just another noob, in need of help

Hey guys, I’m relatively new to this ZBrush business. But I was just wondering if anyone could explain to me in depth, how to export a character created in ZBrush to a program such as 3DS Max, or Maya, and how to prepare it for animation. What exactly do I have to do? Because apparently it’s a little bit more complex then exporting it as an obj. because of the textures, poly-count, etc. I want to be able to give it a skeletal rig in Maya, or 3DS, so that I can move it in an animation.
