I was wondering, whether after having painted the skind of a model in Zbrush, if it’s possible to save that skin as a texture, for use in Maya ?

im guessing you are talking about polypaint? if so just go int the texture options menu in the tool window and clic on Col>Txr
It will create by default a 1024* texture, if you want a different size texture,
just go in the texture menu, create a texture with the wanted sixe, and repete the Col>Txr process…
