Happy New Years guys! I’m really hoping to be able push out more personal artwork for 2017. Aiming for at least two a month.
Here’s my first artwork of the New Year.

good work
Great work : )
Hey Jude, these are great! Can you talk a little about your material/lighting/renderer process? The skin looks very realistic, and you’ve made tremendous progress from your thread in 2015! I’m also curious how you generate hair and your hair shader
Cheers!
Very good work … Top Row?
All the best, David
@dylanpanther I used the AlSurface shaders for the skin. I like the way the SSS looks. The lights were just a simple 3 point light setup, and the hair was made using Maya’s new Interactive XGen Grooming. Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been in the middle of a move and had no internet for a good while. I can’t even begin to explain how weird life is without internet for a couple of weeks. I’ll try to create a breakdown for you if I get some time.
hey man I’d appreciate it, you rule! Also, I can’t imagine how that would be either. Im addicted haha.
I wanted to share with you guys something I’ve been working on the past couple days to test out the new SSS algorithm for Renderman. Hair was done with xgen. Everything else was sculpted with ZBrush. Pores were done with Texturing XYZ. If you guys are interested, I have a tutorial up on their site.

Lovely art, everything is fine tuned & displayed perfectly.
Keeping the creative wheel of inspiration going.
Thanks for the kind words guys! It’s been a while since I posted. Thought I’d share some WIP shots rendered in Marmoset.

One of my favorite characters from TWD. You did an awesome job with the likeness! Top notch work!
