JPEG export Z4R2

Is there a way to export jpegs from ZBrush? Now we have all the rendering and post filters in R2 it’d be great to just post up to the web to show friends etc but I don’t see any option for jpeg export. Is there a plug-in or option somewhere?

Only Psd, Tiff, or Bitmap. No lossy formats. You’ll have to use an image editor or other conversion utility. Most Zbrush artists make use of some type of image editor alongside Zbrush.

Zbrush has turned Microsoft Paint into one of my most used programs for this very reason.
I’m not sure if the fact that this amuses me is cynical or not.
I wish it could make use of Photoshop files.

 well >> one possible answer would be to look more closely at your keyboard.

Because?

Because there is one special key (no, not the ANY key, searching for this from day one), the PRINT key!

What it does is as simple as it is fantastic: it takes a “foto” of your actual screen.
Just open (after using this key) your editor of choice, and insert your screen shot there.
Doing so after a BPR in ZBrush (and maybe putting your cursor out of the way), well: instant jpg/gif … whatever you want.

Good luck
