Jesse's Finished Models. Finally.

Realy great work! It’s sick as zombie can be! I have a sugestion! Maybe you should put him army neckless around the neck, but make it sick too!
Again,awesome work! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I kept looking at the eyes thinking its different. Empty but sad. Really pulls me in emotionally.

So I started giving this guy some accessories around his belt. More fine detials added, maybe you notice, maybe not. I think I’m done with the sculpting, and I’m off to fully texture this guy. It may be awhile before the next update. I just got really busy at work and any free time will be spent less in front of a computer. I will reply to any questions though.

Hey Jesse

A really nice sculpt. I would recommend to rip up some of the clothes to follow your theme. The clothes are just too perfect for how rotten your sculpt is.
Really good stuff though.

Paul

Nice details on the figure, I agree the cloths ripped and torn would make this really cool.

P.S. Maybe you could give him a couple of medals, or trinkets, trophies.

Great sculpting I love the skin !

here is another character I’m working on. Originally I had modeled this for the Bay Area Game Jam here in SF. I had textured him for the jam but because the game had to be created in 24hrs, I did a quickie job. Just enough for the angle the player would see. I’m planning on doing a full high quality texture job on him. This is the model used for the jam. This was modeled textured and rigged in 6hrs. I’m thinking of doing some more modeling to it, but not sure what yet. Any suggestions would help.

texture update. I started this Monday evening and now I’m at a more finished state. Added more blood, rips and stains in the clothing.

nice texturing. I really like the pants and the realistic blood spatter on his chest. This dude’s pretty gross.

Thanks Universal. I can’t wait until the OS X update is released. I’ll finally be able to export good normals I hope. I’m really looking forward to bring this into Maya for lighting and rendering in Mental Ray.

So I actually modeled the head of his guy back in 2007. He has always been a head until now, when I finally figured out that he is best suited as a boxer. I also opened this project back up, because I want to do a study on actual human anatomy, and not so much fantasy, or sci-fi. Anyway here is my attempt at anatomy in a human character. I’m currently texturing now. Sorry I didn’t showcase during the modeling stage.

You should focus on resolving the larger forms before adding details.

Thanks Grom. Could you be more specific in what areas need fleshing out. After looking at this for hours and comparing to anatomy reference, it’s hard for my eye to see the problem areas. I appreciate outside eyes to make this better. Here is the latest progress.

Nice texturing!..well I notice right off the bat the chest is way too low and it looks a little square to me, try rouding it out more. The legs could be alittle bulkier imo, hope this was helpful. Looks good so far don’t stop >_>

I really like the details and textures , keep it up :+1:

good catch Rivengard. I made the adjustment to the pecs, very slight on the rounding. I’ll post it later as it is getting late and I need sleep. I’ll beef up the legs a little more, but I’ll tell you, that I did have them beefier before and it didn’t look right proportionally, maybe I just need to do it very slightly.

I don’t think the pecs are necessarily too low. My suggestion would be to round the top of the shoulders more, the deltoids, because it looks like is shrugging. Bring the inner part of the deltoids inward, as well.

Then bring this area, where the pecs meet the armpits, down a bit. This should help make him look more relaxed and natural.

Keep it up.

There seems to be a lot of basic anatomical problems. Here are a couple suggestions. Hope it helps!
