A few months ago, I rewatched Star Trek Beyond and decided to create a real-time version of Jaylah character, played by Sofia Boutella. I had a lot’s of fun working on this project. From the initial research, I knew that this would be a challenge. Her skin appeared to be very powdery and white so was her hair. Getting that look took me a while but I am quite happy with the final result.
