Jagged bends in Displacement map, please help!

Okay I shifted UV’s and they look good but I’m getting a strange displacement map results. I’m using the quick code DE-LBEK-EAEAEA-R32 for Maya 2009. The bends show up in the render in Maya and the only way I see how to get rid of them is to use GUV and do a project all to redo the details. I would liek to texture as well and I thought I could honestly use Zbrush. Can someone please give me a comprehensive answer please? I don’t think it’s Maya with these results in the displacement map looking like this?

What were the settings that you used when you divided the mesh? Was suv turned on or off? What were the settings that you used when you created the displacement map? Was the setting to smooth UV’s on or off? Have you saved the model and started a new session? If so, there’s a known issue there with smoothed UV’s being lost when you start a new session and load the model again.
