poor man!

That’s fine,I don’t like you,I won’t angry.

We know what is truth in our heart, that’s OK.

In fact, you may apologize to me,you attack me,I didn’t,just write my critique and my thought ,and they are truh.

If you are really good,I will say good, don’t know why you so angry, this is a public froum.

I see the thread is flaming here and for what!? Even if he/she used parts of already made model, he/she did a pretty darn good job!

i think is a public froum for everyone to study skill and get the comment to improved skill, not the comment just for flaming .

The cheeks are very round. Compare to photography. Nice render.

yeah, you find that.

i like this work! look great!!!

great work!!! I see some small issues on the model but not will comment if need to later. However I will comment on the render the gloss or spec layer needs breaking up…both my bump and texture imo its to smooth right now. Other than that I think awesome job…

Hey ZhiHeng Tang,

Did you render the hairs as geometry? What software did you use? What are the properties of the hair matrial? Thanks for sharing

really impressive!!! top row for me… congrats!

wowo~~!it’s cool man! 5stars!top row for me! good job!

This is just awesome! I think you really captured him.
And beautiful render!

I think you did a GREAT job!!! If you are finished with the picture, my only complaint is the hair strands that come out of the bandana, e.g. The strands right above the string of beads and then the whole row at the top of the head. Besides, I think it looks funny having that row of hair popping out at the top of his head anyway. Why don’t you just delete it?

wow man the skin details are amaizng in teh sclupt, but sadly you cant see aany of them in teh render, dunno try using a normal map or bump map if you are using a displacment map, or just turn the displacment distance way up ;D

re-Eiad yes, i render some part of hair use geometry, i use lightwave.use very simple hair matrial, see the screenshot below:
