Hi everyone, here is my 3D model bust of Comic Book Legend Jack Kirby. This was done for Jack Kirby’s 103rd Birthday, which is today. This was inspired by Shane Olsen’s Stan Lee bust, which he modeled on the Pixologic ZBrush Youtube channel. I used the lessons I learned in that live-stream as well as the ones in the new bust lesson in his 3D Character Workshop. Modeled in ZBrush, rendered in Keyshot, and composited in Photoshop. Testing out different materials to create a more illustrative look as well as bronze look. I also tested out the new ZBrush Cloth dynamics to have a cloth drape over the bust in one of the last images. Jack Kirby 3D Bust based off my original concept drawing. I made changes in the 3D model but used the drawing as a starting point.
