Ivane Javakhishvili, one of the founders of Tbilisi State University, oldest In Caucasus named after him, One of famous and impactful Georgians. Sadly no quality pictures of him are remaining so i did my take on his portrait hopefuly achieving likeness and realism.
Sculpted in Zbrush, using zwrap for base mesh. Marvelous designer for base clothing, refined in Zbrush and retopo in maya. cloth texturing done substance painter and sampler. XYZ maps + customs for face, using MARI. Groom using Xgen, Setup in Maya, Rendered in Arnold, composited in PS. hope you like it
