It's Dynamesh, it's Clay Tubes or why when Spotlight is on Clay doesn't work

Hello Guys
I recognize I am not an ZB expert, so could someone explain me is this a program glitch, but when I have a Spotlight image on the screen as a reference and I am working with Dynamesh (I am aware that with Spotlight on you loose the Shift), selecting the Clay Tube brush it does not do anything (I can’t sculpt with it) so I have to switch Spotlight off (Shift-Z) working with tubes, switch it on, switch it off…

First thing crossing my mind is that I am doing something wrong and second reason could be just ZB behaviour, logic or whatever.

Could someone help me with this.

If you’re using the spotlight off to the side of the model for reference instead of as a projection/stencil, you can go to Brush: Samples and turn off Spotlight projection. Then you’ll be able to sculpt on the mesh like normal while Spotlight is up.
