For instance, I have a wall that has a planar uv mapping, shared for both sides. Is there a way to paint it in Zbrush? I tried UV groups with a hope it separates pats with a shared uv space but still have red uv check on each group.
Showing a single group at a time should do it. If you still have red showing when you do a UV check then it is probably because your UVs extend right to the edge of the UV space. (ZBrush will wrap points that fall exactly on the border as it doesn’t know which tile they fall into.) If you scale the UVs down a touch then all should be well.
