Issues with Rendering Transparency and Refraction in ZBrush 4R5

Hi all,

I seem to be having issues with changing refraction settings for a transparent material. I enabled Transparency in the Renderer, clicked on the correct boolean switch in the subtool layer, as well as enabled “BPR Transparent Shading”.

I can get the material to be transparent, but, the refraction settings do not seem to be working. At least when I render, I do not see a difference in magnification effects when I change the settings.

Is there something I am missing here? How can I get refraction to show in my renders?

Refraction has been broken for several versions now

I didn’t know that. The materials panel would be where, if it did work though?

OK. At least I know now that it is not something I am doing incorrectly.
