Issue on Alpha and Rect Stroke... (answered)

Hello Everyone…

I am in love with Z4 !
but I do have a problem …
I am using an Alpha image with the Rect Stroke ( my alpha is not square ), I get an unwanted mirrored image of the alpha on the other side of the sphere for example…
I have read the threads to go to Brush> Auto Masking> Backface Auto Mask but I still have the same problem, Weather I have the Symmetry on or off.
The double Alpha is still appearing …gggrrrr…

am I doing something wrong here !
or is there a way around this …

Thank You.

The area affected by a sculpting brush is basically spherical - this means that if you drag out the alpha large enough, or your model is thin, you will get sculpting on the back of the model as well as the front.

Backface masking currently won’t work in ZBrush 4 (this is being looked at by the development team) so you will have to mask or hide the backface using the masking or selection brushes so as to stop it being sculpted.

Thanks Marcus…

Happy to hear that the development team is on it …
The masking was not so great, It kind of masked the other part as well.
But somehow with the clipping brush it did the trick…

Thanks again.
