Issue Exporting OBJ with UVs from Zbrush into 3ds Max

I have an issue with UVs and I was hoping someone could shed some light.

  1. I sculpted a Rock Face in Zbrush without UVs
  2. Brought my lvl 1 into Max to UV
  3. Brought the OBJ file into Zbrush to copy the UVs onto my lvl 1 Geometry with all my sculpting data.

Now when I export my new lvl 1 with UVs I go into Max and it does keep all the UV coordinates but it literally separates every face in the UVs. My original seems are gone and now every face edge is a seem. It doesn’t respect my seems I made in Max and weld the other vertices (even though I have it poly group by seems) and it shows it correctly.

I was hoping to get some help if its an Export issue out of Zbrush, and if I need to use a setting I have overlooked.
