Been seeing a lot of problem threads, not sure if its peoples misunderstanding of features, their system specs or zbrush 4 itself?
Z4 is the most stable and feature-rich version of ZBrush.
The reason that you see many threads is because there are many ZBrush users.

although Z2 was by far the most stable 
I couldn’t hit any “open” or “load” button in Zbrush without an immediate crash. I had to disable Auto File Recovery to stop the problem. I’ve also experienced multiple crashes while just working. I’ll find the pattern soon unless all my crashes were a result of Auto File Recovery killing Zbrush while I was working.
I’m on the most updated Vista Ultimate x64. 8 gigs of ram. Nothing else running.
