Hi guys,
I’m pretty new to 3D and I’m working on a project for university which is a low poly game character.
To cut to the point - I have created a model and unwrapped the UV in Maya. I wan’t to know, is it possible that I can load this model and UV map into Zbrush, paint on the 3D model, and then save the painted UV map, and put it back into Maya?
I have tried over and over again for the past two days to paint directly on the flattened UV map in Photoshop but I just can’t get my head around it, painting on a flat UV map for me seems like a no go 
Anyway, any help appreciated.
