I’ve been playing around with spotlight and apart from it appearing to be slightly buggy causing zbrush to crash… It actually does everything that projection master and stencils could do but with more freedom. So my question is, are there any points to using these other methods anymore?

Well for one, spotlight is restricted to polypainting. With projection master you can opt to paint to a texture OR polypaint. And zapplink is basically works with projection master from what I can tell.
True, but to be honest I love poly painting. I’ll still use zapp though as you can’t beat Photoshop.
