I never animated hair before but I am aware of the basic principles to dynamic simulation. If, for example, I created my character’s hair using Fibermesh, hair with pony tails and detailed geometry, what would happen if I attempted to animate that hair in 3DS Max? I’m aware that an overlapping mesh doesn’t like to be simulated. Is there a certain way to create hair in Zbrush so animation won’t be a problem? Is there a specific way to do this?
