Is there a way to save one sub tool as a new tool with out first deleting others

If you have a tool with many sub tools, and you want to save one of the sub tools as a new individual tool file anyway to do that with out having to delete all the other sub tools and then using Save As.

You can use the Copy button in the Tool>SubTool sub-palette, then choose the PolyMesh3D Star in the Tool palette and click Tool>SubTool>Paste. You will still need to delete the Star.

But really the simplest way is probably:

  1. Press Tool>Copy Tool
  2. Press Tool>Paste Tool
  3. Press Tool>SubTool>Delete Other

Tool > Clone

Creates a copy of the currently selected Subtool by itself and adds it to the tool palette, which you can then save.
