hi all,
i am pretty new to zbrush, and i am just wondering if there is a way to open up a 3.5 ztl in 3.1 or lower.

are there any ways?

No. But you can export the highest and lowest levels of your model as OBJ’s. In 3.1 you would import the level 1 version and divide it to have the same number of levels as before. Then you would import the high level, updating your 3.1 multi-res model to have all the high level detail from before.
