Is there a way to keep symmetry on a model no matter where you move it?

I’ve been trying to make some pauldrons for some armour and they need to be identical so symmetry is the best option, I’m using zmodeler to make them but as soon as I move them on my basemesh’s shoulders while I still have symmetry turned on the points that you can move stay in the centre not on the model so then symmetry is lost.

Could someone please explain if anything can be done?

There’s a couple ways you could do this, the first one I would try is turning on “L. Sym” under the Transfrom palate.

If that doesn’t work you could try using ArrayMesh. Where your first model is perfectly centered in the world and then you make array instances of it to move around and place wherever you want. You can read up more on it here
