Is there a way to add Custom Primitives?

If not, do I just save all my primitives as Tools and load them up whenever?

Reason Im asking is so I can easily append primitives I know I’ll need. Currently If I append a Ring primitive, it has way to many polys (2k) than a I need so Id like to make my own ring with the amount of polys I need it to have.

I know I can do this in brush and just append it but Id like to avoid subtool switching if that makes sense.

Basically this, is there a way add custom primitives in the subtool append menu (under 3D meshes category)?
OR is there a way I can edit the ring primitive without having to switch to its own subtool and use initialize (editing the ring with other subtools active)?

Once you select the desired shape go into the Initialise section and adjust as desired, then Makepolymesh3D. You can then save it as a .ztl or export as an .obj . HTH

Yea I get that, I mean the 3D mesh window. Say your working on a subtool and you need to append ANOTHER primitive to the subtool you’re working on…

So you click append and you get a list of 3D Meshes that come with zbrush as primitives. Id like to ADD primitives to that list so I dont need to switch to a different subtool and initialize it. It would also let me just stay in the same subtool as opposed to switching back and forth.

If you save your file as a project, you can add the items you want(as a base project so to speak), they’ll be there when you reopen that project. Just save as whatever it is you’re working on afterwards.
