Is the Layers Timeline Track is broken in 4r6?

Hi all,

I’ve encountered an issue in 4r6 and I’m wondering if anyone can confirm it for me, or point out a potential error in what I’m attempting.

I have no trouble keyframing individual layers while working on an animation in zBrush. However, the “layers” track, which should be able to simultaneously track changes on all layers of a subtool, does not seem to work at all. No information as to the intensity sliders of the layers is stored on the Layers timeline track when a keyframe is dropped; this seems to be the fundamental problem.

Is there a setting I am missing, or is the movie function simply incomplete? I have noticed as well that although the documentation offers that one can link or unlink many different functions to a track other than camera, I certainly can’t get anything under the “link” menu to change whatsoever. The buttons will flash yellow when clicked but remain unlit.

Any insight someone could offer would be much appreciated. If someone could even just open up their version and confirm for me that I’m not crazy, that would be great.

Thank you!

Here is a video of the issue, if it is helpful.
