Absolutely! Ctrl+Shift+Click will do the job. Exactly what happens depends on whether your click is on a point belonging to one polygroup or two, and whether the mesh is fully visible or partially visible.
PS: This is covered in both the Practical Guide and the ZScripts included with Z2.
cool thanks and yeah sorry I watched that script a month ago and did not register that part.
Hi, Does anyone know if you can or how to hide polygroups that can’t be touched by the mouse? I have a model of a ball set up from 3DS Max where the ball is a shell and the inside is a separate object. When exported to OBJ for ZBrush the objects are joined together and assigned polygroups. I want to be able to scuplt the outside of the ball and leave the inside alone but the only way to do this is to hide or mask the goups I don’t want sculpted, but these are inside the mesh and I can’t hide them with CTRL+Shift+Click.
What I am trying to do here is create a ring box that I can get 3D printed so I need to sculpt the outside so that the base and the lid of the box are seamless when closed but leave the inside smooth.
Thanks
