Is it possible to polypaint through multiple poly layers?

Hi,

I have modeled a leaf. It’s not a typical tree leaf, but it’s a thick tropical type. So the model is not a single layer of polygons. It’s got thickness with 2 layers of polys. I am curious if I can polypaint the veins and such on one side and have it paint through to the polygons on the opposite side of the leaf. Thanks!

If the brush size is larger than the thickness of the leaf then what you paint on one side will also appear on the other. It won’t be identical, though, unless you use a very tight focal shift so that the brush has almost no falloff.
