Hello everyone. Being new to Zbrush, I am still needing to develop the correct workflow. After I created some high detail I realized I had to merge two subtools which I think you have to use Dynamesh? When I do this, my carved writing gets destroyed. Is it possible to just mask or keep this detail when I merge the two subtools? Of course, I realize now that the only time you do the high detail work is after you are done merging tools. Here is a picture of my carved writing which does not survive when you merge two subtools.
