The mac version is completely different from the win version?
• the transparency doesn’t work properly,
• the reference plane option isn´t intuitive,
• even following tutorials some features doesn’t work… (ex: Subtools Master rev 3.2, doesn’t have the merge feature and the selection of subtools isn’t inaccurate)
Or it’s me???.. 
All the tutorials are for older versions of zbrush, probably 3.1 on windows. These changes you are seeing in the mac version are now also in the newer windows 3.5 version.

Yes, I’m a mac user.
Some of these things are also in 3.5 and i’m sure with people complaining about them they may be corrected by the time 3.5 on the mac comes out.
With subtool master, the merge subtool option is not there because this feature has been added to the Tool / Subtool palette as a ‘Merge Visible’ button.
