I’ve been wondering the same thing! Although I’d like to see more zbrush based apps rather than sculptris.
For example I would love a .ztl viewer that I could load models in “light box” style, and have a plethora of models to show off on the go.
I’m sure there would be some restrictions on that. So another idea would be to include a plugin with zbrush that lets you output an Interactive Turntable of your model. Viewable on the iPad.
So it would be an app version of Pixologic’s turntable gallery with real export capabilities so we can upload our own interactive turntables for easy, on the go portfolio capabilities.
I’d gladly buy something like that!
I think my hopes are based more on Mobile solutions to aid a digital portfolio as this is what I’ve been using my iPad for lately, and I doubt I’ll see a mobile version of zbrush anytime soon. So these few ideas I feel could be coded fairly quickly and put out on the app store for a few bucks right away. Heck it’s half the reason I bought an iPad in the first place. Portable digital portfolio with plenty of horsepower!
Just my $.02
