invisible sculpt

hi, i’m still pretty new to zbrush (learning it in school), but i’ve hit a problem neither me nor my teacher can fix. i was working on a sculpt for a ww1 character, and it disappeared, the subtools are still visible in the subtool menu, i can export each subtool to obj and open it in max, but if i try to draw it in a zbrush document it doesn’t show up, i even tested it on other computers to see if it wasn’t a setting in my zbrush that failed. No part of the sculpt is hidden, cause i already tried to unhide. Is there anyone here who can help me?

Select the subtool that’s invisible. Press ctrl+shift and give a blank area of the document a tap with your pen. This is “unhide all.”

If that isn’t the problem, double check that the visibility toggles are enabled on all of your subtools in the subtool pallet. They look like little eyes, just like in Photoshop’s layers pallet.
