Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve programmed my Intuos to use its function keys as Shift, Alt, and Cntrl in ZBrush. However, when I go to do a hide selection operation, I hold down the Shift and Cntrl, get the green lasso or marquee, drag over my model and release the Shift. What I expect to get is the red hiding lasso. What I DO get is the grey stencil lasso. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but using the same keys on the regular keyboard gives the expected behavior. I’ve double checked the settings on the tablet to make sure that the keys are properly mapped, but can come up with no explanation for the behavior. So I’m curious to know if other Intuos users have a similar issue. I’m using the most current driver, 6.10.5, on XP+SP2, Dell M90. If you are having this issue and respond, place detail your OS and driver revision in your posting. Thanks for your time.
I can’t speak for the PC driver, but the Mac driver releasing shift gives the red marquee as expected. I’d log a bug with Wacom.

Ok, I’ve confirmed that on my system at least a reversion to an older driver fixes this problem. I went back to 4.9.3 from 6.10.5. As that things are working for me now, I don’t think I’ll try the two others in between. I opened a support ticket with Wacom, as you suggested, though I don’t hold out much hope for that. Still, maybe someone will contact me back and I can tell them what fixed it.
i can confirm this one, its been there for awhile i think because with my tablet i’ve gotten used to just doing this, ctrl+shift, let go of ctrl and repress ctrl brings up the red marquee, a little more work but it soon becomes second hand.
