intuos 2 is slow as mustard

After getting a new computer with windows 7 I installed my intuos 2 with new drivers and even after cranking up the cursor speed it moves incredibly slow. I use my tablet mouse mode with no acceleration. Is there a way to go into some config file and increase the "mouse speed’ further then what it allows in the wacom utility?

any help is greatly appreciated!

Is the USB 2.0? It must be right? Also maybe try uninstalling and redo it, make sure it’s mapped correctly to your screen.

It almost sounds as if Precision Mode has been enabled. Does the Intuos2 support that? Something to look into anyways.
