Was the GoZ feature included in the latest mac update?

Well, when the thread span beyond 5 pages, few wanna go through the old stuffs.
It`ll be available with ZBrush4, which should be available in August.
The softwares Pixologic picks for GoZ tie-in will enjoy increased sales.
Mac users should get it sometime in the next couple of weeks.
(But it’s the initial post that usually explains everything…)
Anyway, make sure you’ve set up your “support account”, I guess it’s a new way of getting upgrades that makes it easier for everyone.

I’m an XSI user for modelling and usually rendering, and pretty much Zbrush for detail work and texturing. I’m hunkering down with XSI 7 so I didn’t get the new UV features included in 7.5.
Now to the point. I was just about to push buy on Headus UV Layout for my UV work, but looking at Zbrush Go and the potential of 4 on the horizon, does the group think that’s a value added purchase or will the UV work be effective in Zbrush natively?

or maybe keep it as a secret untill its almost released.

i can even imagine that it will be very similar to headus.
If u cant wait i can highly recommend headus… its like the zbrush of
uv layout programms. Very intuitive and straight forward with awesome results.
In the meantime, if u want to wait and see what it will have to offer
you could check out blenders uv editing tools.
So far ive only heard good things about it especially for pelt mapping
and u dont have any investement at risk as its free 
That’s why silo would be great with GoZ. A pure modeling program that is like maya modeling with nex (without 10 years of bloat) that can also UV map. The interface is totally customizable so you can make it look and feel like zbrush. AND its on sale now, three seats (mac or pc) for 129 dollars (from 159). Mmmm, yeah.
This means Zbrush and the selected apps will be able to get “cozy with GoZ”.
It’s always hard to beat an application that is so specialized. UVLayout has a nice UI and makes the work of separating the islands of UV mapping very intuitive but you can get most of that from the very excellent UVUnwrap of Blender, with the added bonus that you can still work on the model in Blender is you need to. take a look at that. There is a pretty good tutorial about UVUnwrap with Blender and ZBrush on VTC.
Hmm, modeling aside, this would be very useful bridge in apps like Poser and DAZ Studio for adding textures in ZBrush and then bringing the new maps back to these apps for final tweaking of specular and other channels. Save out the settings and you have new textures for your models all done in ZBrush and finished in Poser or DAZ Studio (or heck Carrara for that matter 
)! That is if ZBrush can be finally be set up to natively respect original UV’s, even multiple UV MAPS like what you find in models like Michael 4 and Victoria 4.
In this way, this new tool would be very useful indeed!!

haha but Spaz is probably right, Pixo has a history of releasing at the last possible second… though they seem to be changing a lot lately. Maybe it’ll be sooner?
