Around 8am CT there was a: ZB4 Icon in the Recent threads. I thought it would be a preview about ZB4, but it did not link to anything, and now it’s gone. It was visible for at least 30min when I saw it.
hrm, well i can offer one of two explanations:
- some knucklehead thought it would be funny to post a fake ZB4 release thread, and a moderator promptly squashed it
or
- pixologic accidently pulled the trigger on the “ZB4 is available now!” post a little too early.
My guess is that it’s probably #1 simply because Ofer Alon himself posts the major release announcements, and I doubt that he’d be so far out of the loop that he would post a premature release announcement.
just my theory anyway, for whatever it’s worth
