In the tradition of our previous interviews with industry leaders Weta Digital, Zack Petroc, Timur “Taron” Baysal, Kris Costa, Francois Rimasson, Hiroshi Yoshii, Ralf Stumpf, Aaron Sims, Ethan Summers and Matt Cioffi, we have now posted an interview at ZBrush.com with six time Academy Award winner Rick Baker (known here at ZBrushCentral as monstermaker).

We’d like to invite everyone to take a few minutes to read about Rick, his background in the industry, and why ZBrush is such a great fit for the work that he does. It’s a very entertaining – and remarkably candid – look at one of the best-known names in Hollywood.

though, a ton of us here knew monstermaker was rick baker for months but left him alone so we could still get the goodies!!!

Dang. No wonder he is so good. I was blown away with your first post and continue to look for your work as an inspiration. Very nice stuff. Look forward to seeing more stuff monstermaker.

Hope MM feels he can keep posting here. I suppose he’s bound to get a few ‘givus a job/reference’ type private messages, though. Heh heh … I once told MM one of his pictures was clichéd. Hope I’d still be brave enough to say the same thing now I know who he is.
