NoirQ - thank you very much thought I fear he’s too cartoony:o - I’ll have to make something more realistic next time

brettSinclair - omg you’ve got to see Hades in Action, he’s priceless  Thank you!

Awesome jawdropping work Magdalena !
Thanks
Lucky

didn’t know this character bevor but after i looked for some pics of this character i was stunned how exactly you modelled this one. i really like how clean it is although you said it’s kinda fishy in some parts ( i think you won’t even think it’s perfect if it is  ). another great one and awesome that you again did such a great work in 4 hours. just trainin day by day to reach that level you got but i think i need another few years to get their.lol.

magda,
thanks for sharing your skills - just wow! inspiring, eye-opening, motivating, amazing! a.

Lucky_1 - thanks

Al.Tintop - thanks and you should see Hercules

alenah - thanks so much:o

here’s another cartoon character done in around 4hrs - this time with a slightly more ‘realistic’ approach  It’s Yogi Bear

YOGI

I was wondering, could you post the adjustments (proportions changed in wireframe mode) that you made to the base mesh before you started sculpting away on the Hades Character??

Just curious to know

well
Later

Selah,

Very inspairing, all the work found here, as I said once, I really love your work.
Keep it coming, I hope to see more.

Cheers

selahpoetic - hope that helps [cigar was made out of the teeth mesh] - btw yogi was made out of the same base mesh and so was the bird woman.

hades_wire

Sir_Crono - thank you

good work on yogi, the fur has come off really well, got a very fluffy look to it.
know which you’re going to submit yet?

Good job - I like this character - very nice clean sculpting
Good luck in challenge

Thanks for the break down…I was always curious how artists manipulate their base meshes…I now understand why getting the overall proportions right according to the character, should be established before sculpting is important. it looks as if it makes the sculpting portion of the model a time saver. Anyway thanks again

BTW, are you the only woman on these boards??? Where are all the women of zbrushcentral??

selah

NoirQ - thanks

emeth003 - thnx very much and likewise

selahpoetic - glad it helped. LOL no I’m not

well here’s something I did over a few days when some free time was at hand - I just could not resist that deranged goat after I saw the drawing by Subtle_Squid over at conceptart.org I’m putting it here because it’s not exactly a finished work and it’s a bit more than a sketch… still just a practice and some fun. [sorry I think I compressed it too much]

ahahhahaha ,great! i love it!!

Alex Oliver

fantastic!! show us how did ya modeled this awesome beard, oh might one

snakehook??

LOL Alex - cheers  yeah it’s a hillarious concept…

Fabricio - Thank you  oh actually I modeled it separately as a geometry and then merged both in zbrush [insert mesh function - they both had to have the same level of subdivision] and then used mosty clay tubes to merge the seams - strangely enough it blends the 2 meshes very well…

interesting technique. i’ve seen it before but never used it… can you please show us the wires on the lowest level? sorry to bug you that much, i really liked the look of it.

will have to do it tomorrow - no wires with me atm  - it’s quite high-res model at the low level though, I wanted to have most of it just modeled in, not zbrush from start…

ROFL at that last character! Best thing you have created so far I think! BAaaaa!

no worries…

:sunglasses:

wowww superb… great sculpt!!
