very nice texturing indeed, but the texture on the goggles doesn’t seem to fit in so much, maybe make it match the leather hat more?

hey magdalena ! its great ! what you used for render ? waiting for your updates !

My CG-Real-O-Meter is at “100% realism achieved!”. Now don’t fudge him up with to much detail ;). He’s spot on. What a cool guy, my favorite out of the entire top row!
Lemo

good job .

:+1:

Wow your texturing is getting really good! Are you using multiple texture maps?

What a great and unique looking character!

Very good!!! quite a dude  how about some smudge on his face around his goggles area?

Fantastic

nice textures, model looks intresting

wow!! looks amazing to me!!

Alex Oliver

Dryn - thanks very much! I disagree though, it goes well with some things you can’t see here yet + it’s only got the colour map on, no bumps or specs so it looks kinda crappy :sunglasses:

skulll_monster - thank you! it’s mental ray [xsi 6.5]

lemmonado - wow thanks a lot:o

phat - thanks

womball - thank you! not that good yet I fear  Oh I’m using quite a few maps [mostly devided by materials and they’re all big]

KrakenCMT - thank you!

Aumakua - thanks  Will see if I’ll put something on the face… may be…

Stephenrinkin - thank you
mrkrzysiek - thanks
Alex - thanks so much! I’m really happy

goblin_wip_11

Wow. Really exciting. Love it.

Wow, the details are nice, man , the rendering is very great, waiting the finial pictures:D

Looking fantastic. Maybe the boiler thingy could do with some more wear and tear? Either way its great work! I can’t wait to see this all together.

I love the face. Great sss shader. The fur really breaks the surface. How are you rendering the fur? Are you comping it in?

I look forward to more

Cheers
Brett

Hats off to you for face.its coming really real.keep going:+1:

vlad74 - thanks

barbarossaX - thank you.

brettSinclair - thanks  I agree and intend to add some more scratches and stuff onto the boiler itself…
I’m rendering it with the skin since there’s not a lot of it  just a few hairs…

respect young lady… WOW:D

I want a 3d print of this painted like that! awesome

Compliments Mag!!! The Goblin is fantastic!!! :+1:  :+1:

dagoned - thanks!

Aumakua - thank you  hehe thanks…

piz - cheers - not finished yet though…

a bit more … remodeled some stuff [alas for me I came across a ‘society of wrench appreciation’ website and had to remodel mine  and learned in awe how many different wrenches there are]. A low quality render [lots of specks and rough edges] so I put it in a frame LOL for some presentation…

Almost done putting textures on all the objects so now I can get on to tweaking and adjusting them [adding spots, dirt and stuff] and figuring out the composing. Still have issues with some things   … hope you like it in general though.
