Interface Question + I'm looking for Zbrush lighting tutorials

Hello,

I am new to Zbrush, and currently going through some Gnomon DVD courses, and none of them mention a particular piece of the subtool menu. I have attached an image and numbered the icons that I have know idea what they do.

Also I am looking for some good lighting tutorials for zbrush… everything I’ve found seems to be from 2003 to 2005… I’m sure it has progressed since then… basically I’m just looking for some newer information.

Thanks in advance,
~ Chess

Icons 1,2, and 3 are the Boolean operators used in remeshing. 1= Union 2= Subtraction 3= Intersection. #4 is the Colorize icon and is the same as the ‘Colorize’ button in Tool > Polypaint submenu and should be on when you want to polypaint and will come on automatically as soon as you fill an object with color (Color > FillObject).

Thanks so much zber2… much appreciated. It was driving me nuts not knowing what those icons meant.

No problem, your welcome.
