So in Zbrush 2 I was able to save a psd file in photoshop and have it instantly update any changes in the Zbrush texture palette without having to reload it. Is that not working in ZB3.1? Is there a place to turn that on and off?
I believe that if you have the texture active and you use Import to re-import the same texture, it will overwrite the old one with the new version as long as the file name is the same. I haven’t ever seen it auto update. Even 3ds Max doesn’t auto update textures, you have to reload them if you make changes to them. LightWave is the same way.
That’s true but Zbrush 2 could do it, I’m not kidding.
It was called “instant update” or “auto update”.
Okay I finally found my answer. I should have searched for auto instead of instant. Thanks Aurick, I hope that feature come back though. Kinda lame.
