Instant Texturing not working in R3.5

Hi all,

Need help on this one, i am new to Zbrush and i relieased that the instant texturing function is not woking. Whenever i am in edit mode, i click on any texture in the texture palette, nothing will apear on my object. The only way that i can get some texture onto a object is by using the texture mapping it.

I am running a X64 Win7, is this the cause to the problem?

any form of help is appreciated.
Thanks

Textures in 3.5 R3 are applied in a per subtool basis, using the Tool>Texture Map submenu. Click on the thumbnail and select the texture from the pop-up. Textures should be imported into the main Texture palette before selection.

Thanks a lot. The problem I have is that I dont know how to bake a texture onto a tool.

What i am intending to do is to bake an image of human head onto an Image plane. I have related tutorials, but they are all in 3.1 version, so the texture map interface looked very different. especially that i cannot find the col>texture button, what should i do?

Thanks

HTH,

To see the texture in the normal texture menu (to export it):

  1. press “New from Polypaint” (Tool > Texture Map sub menu)
  2. press “Clone Txtr
