InsertMesh Curve problem..

Anyone have a tutorial on how to set and use the curve with InsertMesh? I just can’t seem to extend a drawn curve. Some have mentioned that as I hover my pointer at the end point of the curve, it will give me a red cursor where I can click and draw to extend the curve. I don’t seem to get that red cursor at all. I can only end up pulling the drawn curve. There doesn’t seem to be any document in help on how to use and work with curves. ><

Also, is there a way to turn off that red dot when I hover over a surface? It seems to automatically snap to points.

Thank you … it seems to be working fine now. think I had to adjust the ‘curve snap setting’

Another question… Do you know if its possible to turn off the mesh/brush temporarily so all I’m doing is drawing the curve with the ability to adjust it and get it exactly where I want before the mesh is inserted? My computer is not very fast and its problematic drawing a curve with the mesh and trying to adjust it… It can be slow and takes time for my computer to process.
